The Advent of Virtual Radiology

With the reintroduction of mask mandates, I found myself thinking about the possibility of local governments implementing states of emergency and ordering citizens to stay at home. In early 2020, many businesses and government entities struggled to keep the gears of business moving while allowing its employees to work from home. While each entity could eventually figure out what worked for them, healthcare facilities required their first-line medical personnel to be physically present to assist patients. Let me digress for a moment; thank you to all those who placed themselves in harm's way during the pandemic to ensure public safety and our wellbeing. So now, as we teeter on the verge of more drastic measures to curb the spread of COVID, let's take a look at one aspect of progress that emerged from the stay-at-home orders.
