CMS Qualifies Medcurrent OrderWise® Clinical Decision Support Mechanism (CDSM) for Appropriate USe of Advanced Diagnostic Imaging

Starting January 1, 2020, Medicare outpatient reimbursement for advanced diagnostic imaging procedures (MR, CT, NM, PET) will be at risk if ordering providers do not consult clinical decision support (CDS) as initially set forth in the Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA, 2014). To meet the requirements of this mandate, only qualified CDSMs and Appropriate Use Criteria (AUC) developed by qualified provider-led entities (qPLEs) may be used.

Konica Minolta is pleased to announce the addition of the AeroDR HD 10” x 12” and 17” x 17” Flat Panel Detectors. These two new sizes join the AeroDR HD 14” x 17” detector to round out Konica Minolta’s AeroDR product line.
