AHRA 2018 Annual Meeting Recap

Phew, that was fun! For those that couldn't be at this year's AHRA Annual Meeting in Orlando, this newsletter is a recap of the fun from this week.

The Association for Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) is the professional organization representing management at all levels of hospital imaging departments, freestanding imaging centers, and group practices.

The AHRA 2018 Annual Meeting and Exposition was held July 22-25 in Orlando, FL. This four-day event attracted over 1,000 medical imaging leaders, offered 70+ educational sessions, and the opportunity to meet with 150 exhibitors - all under one roof.

Shimadzu Medical Systems introduces the RADspeed Fit

As the newest U.S. based product in the RADspeed series, the RADspeed fit with its integrated tube stand, is an outstanding radiography system that offers a cost-effective balance of functionality to support a wide range of general rad applications, such as chest, abdomen, or extremities. The fit can perform emergency examinations while providing the same easy operability and extensive functionality for reducing exposure levels as developed for other products in the series.

The system generator is integrated into the patient table and with easy removal of the tabletop, servicing the unit is a snap making it ideal as an entry level digital radiography (DR) system. Practically priced, the RADspeed fit is equipped with a digital X-ray detector (FPD) and makes the perfect digital X-ray system for Urgent Care and Clinical Centers.

KDR Primary U-Arm

The KDR Primary Digital Radiography System provides advanced digital X-ray capabilities in a small footprint,
equipping urgent care and family practices to provide general radiography services from exam rooms with limited amounts of space.

Clinicians will have the imaging flexibility, image resolution and immediate results they need to make informed decisions faster, helping to boost throughput and patient satisfaction for your practice.

CXDI 10 Series DR Panels

Utilizing strong carbon fiber, this new series of Canon detectors are among the lightest weight detectors currently available. Despite being lightweight, the carbon fiber chassis and frame provide high performance and high durability, tested for the rigors of demanding daily use. The detectors offer superb quality and reliability that you have come to expect from Canon.

The CXDI Series include the 410c (17" x 17"), the 710c (14 'x 17"), and
the 810c (14" x 11").
